Bless Yourself with Holy Water

Holy water is a sacramental and removes venial sin. It is a strong repellant to Satan. Every home should have at least one Holy Water font somewhere in their home (usually by a doorway - entrance or bedroom) filled with Holy Water. Use it daily on yourself, your children, in times of storms and anytime you feel the need for protection from temptations or evil.

Dip your first 2 fingers in Holy Water and while making the Sign of the Cross say:

In the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
By this Holy Water and by Thy Precious Blood, Cleanse Me of my Sins, O Lord

Then take a few drops of Holy Water and sprinkle them on the ground and say:
For the Relief of the Suffering Souls in Purgatory
