This stunning 2 1/2 inch silver oxidized finished crucifix is made in Italy. It is beautifully crafted with all 14 stations of the cross on the backside, as well as, items used in the crucifixion such as; a ladder, nails, lance, a chalice (for His blood) and the inscription “Via Crucis” meaning way of the cross.
The corpus of Christ is on the front of the crucifix and above it is the inscription INRI, which means “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews”. The symbols of the four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, an eagle, bull, lion, and an angel holding the bible, are on the points of the cross.
