 Information

The purpose of the Pardon Crucifix Rosary is to inspire us to meditate on the passion of our LORD. When we meditate on the passion of Christ or any facet of the passion, we receive my graces from God. Not to mention the indulgences from looking at, kissing or carrying the crucifix on our person.

The Holy Face of Jesus Centerpiece

This face of Jesus is what you would see on the Shroud of Turin. On the face side is the inscription in Latin says, "Lord Shine Your Face upon us". On the reverse side is the HIS and Latin words for “Stay with us, Lord”.

Pray the rosary to make reparation for our sins and the sins of others. The more you look at Jesus’ face, the more you will understand His love for you and mankind.

 Pardon Crucifix

On the front of the Crucifix: above the corpus in Latin “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” The reverse side of the Crucifix: The horizontal beam of the cross are the words, “Father, forgive them.” On the vertical beam are the words, “Behold this heart which has so loved men.” In the center is an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

 INDULGENCES

Indulgence has had several meanings over the centuries from favor or kindness, to removal of debt or taxes, to release from punishment or captivity. In the church, to repeal the temporal punishment for sins that already has been forgiven.

Indulgences may be applied to yourself or for holy souls in purgatory.

Granted by Pope Pius X in 1905

  1. Whoever carries on his person the Pardon Crucifix, may thereby gain 300 days indulgence per day.
  2. For devoutly kissing the Crucifix, 100 day indulgence each time.
  3. Whoever says one of the following invocations before this crucifix may gain each time 7yrs and 40 days indulgence: "Our Father who art in heaven, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us." "I beg the Blessed Virgin Mary to pray to the Lord our God for me."

5. Whoever, at the moment of death, fortified with the Sacraments of the Church, or contrite of heart, in the supposition of being unable to receive them, will kiss this Crucifix and ask pardon of God for his sins, and pardon his neighbor, will gain a Plenary Indulgence.
